In partnership with the Denver Handmade Alliance, the Mile High Business Alliance is proud to be hosting a small business tax workshop focused on local sales tax. This workshop is especially geared toward artists, crafters and others in the handmade community who would like to better understand the tax requirements for selling their wares.
 
 
 
Letitia M. Pleis, PhD, CPA, CMA, CFM is an accounting professor at Metropolitan State College of Denver and owner of LMP Accounting Services.  She specializes in small business tax and accounting.  She has had articles published in Management Accounting Quarterly and European Journal of Management.
