Partners

We think the task of creating a strong and sustainable community requires cooperation and the inclusion of diverse ideas and skills. Colorado is home to many organizations providing valuable training, tools and resources to strengthen businesses. We are proud to partner with the following organizations:

Redirect Guide LogoThe ReDirect Guide is a new breed of media company - one that is dedicated solely to creating innovative and effective media that encourages green living and sustainable communities; one that focuses on the end result of its messages instead of simply contributing to the chatter of commercialism; one that holds itself to the market rigors of a for-profit corporation while operating with a mission and ethics expected of a non-profit organization; and one whose actions are driven by three bottom lines - planet, people, profit.

Our products and services are designed to promote businesses that incorporate environmental and social responsibility, to strengthen community, to provide educational resources, and perhaps most importantly, to make it easy for consumers to find healthy and sustainable products and services in their area. As our name implies, we redirect consumer support to sustainable companies by providing an easy to use guide to green businesses and local resources.
OED logoThe Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) works to create a local environment that stimulates balanced economic growth through job creation, business assistance, housing options and neighborhood redevelopment.

In the fall of 2008, following the DNC, OED will be launching a green business program, to provide resources for evaluating and reducing your company's energy needs.  We also plan on consolidating your results with other Denver businesses and then recognizing and promoting your "green" success.  More information can be found at www.milehigh.com/business/sustainable/Greenbiz”
Boulder Going Local Logo
The Boulder County Going Local!
Campaign has been initiated by the founders of Boulder Valley Relocalization, and is organized and presented by Boulder Going Local, Inc. (a social venture) in collaboration with Boulder Independent Business Alliance, Boulder County Farmers' Markets, Slow Food Boulder, local citizens, local food growers, local business leaders, local government and many others to help build community self-sufficiency and strengthen the local economy through partnership, collaboration and engagement. The fiscal mission of Boulder Going Local, Inc. is to provide sustaining financial support for the work of Boulder Valley Relocalization, Boulder Independent Business Alliance and other partnering non-profit organizations.

The Mile High Business Alliance honors Boulder Going Local memberships; their members will be included in our directory and can participate in any events or programs we offer. If your business is located in Boulder County, we encourage you to become members of Boulder Going Local.

Colorado Proud Logo

Colorado Proud. Better for you. Better for Colorado. Look for the Colorado Proud logo at grocery stores, farmers’ markets and restaurants. By buying locally grown, raised and processed foods, you are receiving high quality fresh foods and helping Colorado’s economy, local farmers, ranchers, manufacturers and processors in your area.
