Workshop Format
Hey, we don't lecture! These workshops are entertaining, supportive, informative, and are centered around breakout sessions where you do work on your company, not some hypothetical situation. This way you leave with practical things to implement immediately and a new set of peers to help you do so.The workshop will start promptly at 8:30 am. Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided.
Why It's Different
1) We are business owners,
and know what it's like to run a small business. We know you don't have
time to waste, and we promise you'll be completely satisfied with the
time you've invested. (We really do promise; we'll refund your workshop
fee if you aren't.)
2) We think "marketing" is more than having
a logo and brochure. Our approach is not a one-size-fits-all plan, but
we actually keep the workshops small enough for us to specifically address your business and provide resources,
tools and ideas that work for you.
3) The workshop will be valuable on its own. It is not a sales pitch for future
consulting or services. The workshop will prepare you to start marketing
your business better immediately, including a marketing plan template.
What you do next is up to you, but we aren't saving the "good stuff"
for later.
What we're asking of you
1) Take the time to
complete the pre-workshop self-assessment. This will make your time
here that much more valuable, and will help us ensure that the workshop
delivers real solutions for your business.
2) Attend the entire
workshop. Please arrive on time and plan to be there for the full session. m.
Set yourself up to participate fully and be free from other work, calls
and distractions during your time in the workshop. We
can't guarantee your satisfaction if you aren't present for the entire
workshop.
3) The workshop costs $75 for MHBA members, and $175
for non-members. Payment is due at time of registration. Please be sure
to read and agree to our other payment conditions. If you aren't a member yet, become one now!
What we promise to you
1) The workshop will provide practical ideas for marketing your business that you can start using immediately.2) It will be fun and uplifting. We don't like to waste our time on boring presentations, so why should you?
3) You'll leave with a marketing template for your business, to assist you in continuing to develop and deploy your marketing plan. (and we'll point you to other resources for your business, too)
