Welcome to the Mile High Business Alliance
The Mission of the Mile High Business Alliance is to build better community through better business. We help people find and support local business, and are building an alliance of local businesses who are working together to build a stronger local economy - sharing best practices, doing business together, and helping each other compete against non-local business. We're not about 'business as usual,' but are local entrepreneurs and community members who are designing, influencing and building what's next.
Get Involved in Buy Local Week!
Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper has proclaimed Nov. 28 - Dec. 5, 2008 as "Buy Local Week," as an acknowledgment of local businesses and what they provide in our communities. Especially during this time of economic downturn and uncertainty, where we spend our money really does matter. Choose from local shops, restaurants and cultural activities this holiday season. Not only will you find more unique products, but you'll be contributing to a healthier, more stable local economy. Check out the over 100 locally owned businesses participating in Buy Local Week.
Our Colorado Local First campaign is currently reaching thousands of Denver-metro residents. If you're a locally owned business, find out how to get involved in Buy Local Week.
Join us Monday, December 1st at the Appaloosa Grill for a Buy Local Week Celebration Event, and conversation about how we can work together to address our economic challenges. Free appetizers and drink specials for MHBA members. Find out more and spread the word!
